Our story

Born where the stakes are highest.

Greymatter.io was established in 2015 near Washington, D.C. Our first customers were Defense and National Security programs whose systems could not fail and could not be exposed. The bar never dropped. The audience grew.

We did not wait for the market to name the category. Services multiplied, perimeters dissolved, and security tools piled up faster than teams could operate them. So we built one platform that controls how every application, API, and AI workload is secured. To us, that is the way workload security should have worked all along.

Our encryption is FIPS 140-3 validated (CMVP #5191). Post-quantum encryption is on by default, even in the FIPS builds. When the strictest assessor says yes, every other yes comes faster.

We believe you should get a usable product on day one, not pieces of a puzzle and not a roadmap promise. What we deliver works the day it arrives and keeps working the day your environment changes.
